Corn starch! i keep a little dish on my workbench and dip my fingers in it periodically while i am working with polymer clay. You can also rub it into the surface of the clay to smooth out blemishes and fingerprints.

Oh interesting! I sometimes use cornstarch when baking clay to keep it from flattening onto the baking sheet, but I haven’t tried using it like that! I’m going to have to give it a shot. Thanks for the tip!

How do you mold the clay with out leaving streaks or deep fingerprints i tried using the table instead of my hand but it makes the clay flat... Love you're art and mastery of clay!!

Thank you! It seems to be a mater of developing a light touch.  When you concentrate on what you’re sculpting, it’s easy to hold it in a death grip without meaning to.  I do spend a lot of time with my figures sitting on the desk, rather than being held constantly.  If it’s getting flat while just gently rested on a surface, your clay may be a bit too soft!  You may be working it till it’s too warm, perhaps?

Mozzarella does her best impression of a sausage.

I just love how after he asks if it’s a sausage, it looks down like “oh shit! I am a sausage :o”

"Are you a sausage?"
"*cats looks down and back up* yah"

I love it when cats open their mouths wide open and all that comes out is a small peep
